“Tiny House” by Bonnie D. Bruner
Bonnie was inspired to create little clay houses with wheels, from the renewed interest in tiny homes. Little houses have always been thought of as cozy, simple and cute. She wanted to capture these feelings with her little clay houses. She added the wooden wheels to add whimsy. Each house has their own individual character and no two houses are alike. Her finished art pieces are truly one of a kind!

One of Bonnie’s favorite sayings is:
“The little house can hold all things
From which the soul’s contentment springs.
‘Tis all the joys that mortals know,
For mirth and song and that delight
Which make the humblest dwelling bright.”
Edgar A.Guest
Bonnie also creates other mixed medium art with creative material! Her art education began at Miami-Dade State College, where she had the privilege to be professor’s assistant to Duane Hanson who became famous for his distinctive sculptures. After graduating with an A.A. in Art, she moved on to University of Florida. She completed her B.F.A. studies at Florida Atlantic University and then went on to earn an M.A.E. from Nova Southeastern University.
