Boca Raton Pen Women’s Free Spring Family Festival Is Open To The Public
Enjoy a full-day festival for everyone in your family – Children and Adults. The Boca Raton Branch National League of American Pen Women (NLAPW), professional artists, writers, and composers, will share their expertise in workshops, activities, discussions, and exhibits that will inspire and entertain you. - Participate in a musical story – The Peace Patch – composed by Sheila Firestone
- Create a pastel mural with Dr. Myra Levick, art therapist
- Write poetry with published poet, Marlene Klotz
For Adults
- Meet Pen Women authors, artists and composers
- Open mic with MC, Etta Schaeffer
- Author Talk with published authors, Dr. Myra Levick, Alexandra Goodwin and Carol White
- Poetry Workshop/Collage Creation with poet Vera Ripp Hirschhorn
- How To Self-Publish Your Book – workshop with Meryl Davids Landau
For Everyone
- Juried Art Show
- Art Demonstrations
- Storytelling with Etta Schaeffer
- Closing concert with original music by Sheila Firestone, composer
Raffle Prizes
Refreshments by Cheffrey Eats – a Gourmet Food Truck
Gourmet burgers, mac & cheese, snacks, lite bites
Proceeds for this event will benefit the Boca Raton Pen Women Scholarship Fund.
