Come to a FUN fundraiser with WITVA (men are included) to raise monies for art scholarships, thank previous donors, honor hard working volunteers including Grace Fishenfeld, create an art project, dine in luxury and enjoy spectacular raffle prizes! “Art Of The Sea” is apropos, as the Grand Prize is an AMA Waterways European Riverboat Cruise 8 days/7 nights for two! As a non-profit organization, our mission is to promote public interest in the visual arts and to provide financial support to art students attending our local Florida Atlantic University and Florida International University as well as art students attending Palm Beach County High Schools. The proceeds from this event will help us continue our mission. Last year there were 136 students accepted into the competition.

In keeping with our theme, we’ll spend the morning using creative ways to paint on canvas Beach Bags. An elegant gourmet lunch will follow. You will also have the opportunity to participate in a Fabulous Chinese Auction (baskets filled with fantastic gifts), a Silent Auction (Works of art donated by member artists), and an AMAZING Grand Prize Drawing which includes an AMA Waterways European Riverboat Cruise 8 days/7 nights for two (valid for a Balcony Stateroom in March, April, November or December of 2017/2018. Dining is Gourmet, Staterooms are Deluxe and only has 150 passengers); Angela Yang’s full size painting of “Art of the Sea”; and a phenomenal Paper Sculpture; by International artist, Francine Levinson.

We know you will be inspired by our guest speaker, Angela Yang, who is also the artist of our beautiful “Art Of The Sea” painting and our top Scholarship winner of 2016. This year we are very proud to announce Velia Sweet as our Scholarship Fund Honoree. Please join us as we celebrate Velia, enjoy a creative day, and help raise funds for aspiring young artists.

The number of participants is so large that we need two ceremonies to honor them and give out their awards!
