Judge Nelson Bailey Offers Special Event At Lighthouse Art Center On October 20th

Settle in around a virtual campfire and get comfortable as Judge Nelson Bailey shares his passion for Florida’s history at the Lighthouse ArtCenter’s 3rd Thursday event on October 20th.  In conjunction with photography exhibition, “Eyes Wide Open: Camera In Hand”, this talented photographer and gifted speaker will share stories about Florida in the late 1800’s.  You won’t want to miss this authentic celebration of Florida’s multicolored quilted history!  The Rickie Report shares the details.  This event is open to the public!

Judge Nelson Bailey is a talented photographer and gifted speaker, and he is the only judge listed with the National Directory of American Storytellers as a “Florida Cracker Storyteller”. Florida’s rich cultural history is full of remarkable tales and Judge Bailey brings them all to life. His audiences declare “Every time I’ve listened to him speak I want to cross my arms and stamp my foot and say, “Don’t stop! More!” Please join us on October 20th, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. You won’t want to miss this authentic celebration of our wild and wooly past.  Hear authentic tales of Native-American mound builders, Spanish explorers, early settlers, and cattle ranchers in a rich gallery environment.
