Historic Florida 2nd Generation Highwaymen, A.J. Angela Jones’ Oil On Canvas Is Featured In Center For Creative Education Raffle And Lecture Series

Historic Florida 2nd Generation Highwaymen, A.J. Brown has graciously donated a painting to the Center for Creative Education to raise funds to help support the CCE mission to empower students to grow creatively, academically and socially through an arts-based education. History was handed down, mentored by Original Highwaymen member Johnny Daniels and taught by Original Highwaymen member James Gibson to artist A.J. Brown; early in her career she was bestowed the name 2nd Generation Highwaymen. Only a small selective number of Florida Highwaymen Artists hold a right of privilege, to these historic claims, given by the legends themselves. The Rickie Report shares the details of how you can win this historic oil painting valued at $3,450.  In addition, the CCE will be offering a Lecture Series on October 1st. Buy Your Tickets For the Raffle and the Lecture Series now!

“Images of the vividly colored Red Royal Poinciana and Prince Purple Jacaranda trees along the southern coastal bayous of Florida are trademarks of my paintings. Taught to me by Hall of Fame veteran, James Gibson who said “keep the Poinciana a secret” and like a Highwaymen family recipe, so I have.” – excerpt from A.J. Brown Bio.

“Highwaymen history lives on, President Obama and The First Lady added two of A.J.’s paintings to their collection. Tradition transcends as art history is passed down to their Next Generation and mine with granddaughter Jalisa through time”. – A.J. Brown
