Art On Park Announces Classes For Adults And Youth, Networking Event for Artists, Studio Rental Space And More
Art on Park Gallery in Lake Park, home of Artists of Palm Beach County, announces numerous classes and workshops for youth and adults, original art exhibits, a networking event for artists (April 25th), studio space rental and exhibit space rentals. Working Studio Space Available:
APBC Art on Park Gallery is seeking a working artists who needs studio space.
As of today, a studio/display spaces is available.
The space is approximately 10′ wide, 5′ deep and 10′ high on the back wall.
The rental fee is $150/month for a 6 month lease. First and last required to start.
The artist must be a member of APBC.
Please call the Gallery if you are interested.
First come, first served, upon approval of the Gallery Management Committee,
which reserves the right of refusal.

This workshop introduces the basics of composition in art and linear perspective. Lessons include creating depth and recession on a 2D surface, placing focal points, leading the eye, balancing a composition, scale, texture, size, vanishing points and more.

In this workshop you’ll learn the properties of seas, waves, and coastlines and the accompanying features such as shorelines, rocks, sea foam, reflections etc.

Drawing the Human Face Workshop
This workshop teaches the basics of portrait drawing from observing the human head at various angles, to the proportions of the head and face, to studies of facial features. Students should already possess a working knowledge of drawing and shading along with an understanding of light and shadow.
