“Maroon Bells” by Petr Bednarik

Petr says, “I’m sorry if I am going to disappoint you, but these are not pictures and I am not a National Geographic photographer. I am an artist and what you see are windows and doors to the soul. My media is photography. I use landscapes and cityscapes as my key to open those window and doors. You will not see people in my images and if you do it is just to provide a scale to what is around them. Usually they are small and it is difficult to even find them. A man is not the center of a universe despite acting like one. The soul is vast and filled with love, understanding and compassion. What is reflected in my photography is the human soul. First seen by my eyes and then captured by a digital or film media, an open window revealing beauty, gentleness and hope. The same beauty gentleness and hope the Creator reflected in our being. Now take another look around you and let your soul immerse in the Supreme soul of the Universe. There is no wall between you and the Creator. Without you there is no Universe and without the Universe you are not.”
“Morning Light” by Petr Bednarik
The artistic media with broad appeal will include paintings, sculptures, photography, ceramics, glass, wood, handmade jewelry, collage, mixed media and much more. The prices will be set to suit all budgets; perfect for art enthusiasts and collectors as well as the casual shopper interested in unique gift items.
Jim Bobick
Jim’s work is an exploration of light and color- a physical translation of his ideas surrounding the ethereal. His inspiration comes from many sources: ancient philosophy, the sky, the ocean, music, and poetry. His painting process is intuitive and reactive – he applies several thin layers of oil, each layer a reaction to the one applied before it, letting the painting guide itself to its final incarnation. Jim is from the Maryland suburbs of Washington, DC. In 1998, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland. Since graduating, Jim had a career as an art teacher and a career in the financial industry before settling fulltime as an artist. Since then, Jim has exhibited his work extensively around the country and his paintings are included in many public and private collections throughout the United States and Canada. He has won numerous awards and has been reviewed in major newspapers. Jim lives, works, and owns a gallery in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

A portion of the proceeds from the festival benefits the Downtown Delray Beach Development Authority. The mission of the DDA is to oversee business development, market and promote the merchants of the district, communicate and facilitate a clean and safe community and work to enhance physical improvements.
Carla Bank
“Tres Amigos” by Carla Blank
Carla tells us,”I have a passion for painting that has been with me since childhood. That coupled with my love of pop culture, brings my vision to canvas. Being a native of Mexico, and having been a Chicagoland resident for many years, I bring a unique perspective to modern art. My inspiration is all around me in this great city and my use of color stems from the celebrated artistic heritage of my home country. I paint familiar people, places and things and the ultimate goal of my art is to bring joy to those who view it. I don’t limit my art to canvas, other materials such as wood and glass have also been vehicles for artistic expression. My process usually involves traditional brushes, but most recently I have experimented with finger painting, and found it to be another liberating way to express my creativity”.
