KILN CARVED WIND CHIMES

In this 2 day class students will learn how to make a beautiful and one of a kind fused glass wind chime that incorporates kiln carved details. Create your fused & kiln carved glass pieces on the first Saturday and learn how to assemble and string them on the second Saturday. Cutting experience is required, please bring your cutting and breaking tools with you to class. All materials included except beading supplies.

In this 3 hour course Phil will teach students about different cutting & breaking tools, how to cut glass, and the do’s & don’ts of cutting glass. This class is perfect for students who have taken an entry level fusing, mosaic, or stained glass class and are looking to improve or brush up on cutting skills.

 

 

 

 

BEACH SCENE MOSAICS

This entry level mosaic class is just perfect for summer! Students will learn traditional mosaic technique while creating a piece inspired by the sea. There will be a variety of patterns to choose from. Please feel free to bring your own seashells or treasures from the sea to incorporate into your piece! All materials are included.

 

 

INTERMEDIATE FUSING WORKSHOP

In this 3 session course, experienced students will have the opportunity to develop more advanced projects and create multiple fused pieces of their choice! Entry level fusing knowledge and cutting experience is required. Class size is limited for a more focused learning experience. Students must supply their own tools & materials and projects must be developed and discussed in class with the instructor or pre-approved by the instructor. Course cost includes 2 kiln firings, each additional kiln firing is only $10!
