Laurie Snow Hein Is Featured Artist At Wellington Art Society Meeting

The Wellington Art Society will hold the last meeting of the season on May 13, 2015. The public is invited to the Meet and Greet, followed by a member spotlight and a brief meeting. The demonstration for the evening will be presented by Laurie Snow Hein, a well known Florida-based artist. Laurie’s style is “Old World Realism”.  The Rickie Report shares the details and a few images of Laurie’s artistry.  The Wellington Art Society is a nurturing group and offers numerous opportunities to its members to display and sell their art as well as network with other artists.

Laurie Snow Hein is published and licensed world wide as an award winning artist and illustrator. Her painting style is “Old World Realism” which is highlighted in her Southern landscapes, Everglades, tropical plants and seascapes. Her paintings are alive with vibrant color and light. She is also known for her creative portraits of children, animals and adults which seem to capture the personality of the subject. Laurie also teaches art classes, conducts workshops and displays her art in the top festivals throughout the country.

LICENSING And ILLUSTRATIONS:

Laurie’s art work appears in open and limited edition prints with a large following. Her designs have been licensed for home decor and gift products for such companies as Current Inc., Home Interiors, Mohawk Home, Leanin’ Tree, Conimar, Weavetec, and Home Interiors Inc. You can find her licensed products in WalMart, Target, Cracker Barrel, and specialty shops of all kinds. She is a successful oil painter, illustrator, art instructor, portrait artist and a member of the Atlanta Portrait Society and the Portrait Society of America. Laurie is also listed in Who’s Who in American Art, Who’s Who in America, and Who’s Who of American Women. She has painted executuve portraits for institutions such as Furman College, Palm Beach Atlantic College and St Vincent Hospital. Avon Company commissioned her to paint the Mothers Day 2009 Plate which completely sold out. Her newest collection, “Freedom’s Spirit”, was started to raise awareness of the plight of an American heritage…the wild mustangs of America.
