“What’s All the Buzz About?” is a Juried Exhibition of contemporary works, that explores the relationship between the artist and the environment. The spotlight of this exhibition will be on the vital role of the bee in the South Florida eco-system. The exhibition is presented by The Artists of Palm Beach County and ActivistArtistA II . The exhibition, a benefit for Palm Beach Beekeepers Association, will include a special guest presentation by the PBBA president Al Salopeck. Curator, Rolando Chang Barrero has his eyes set on Lake Park, he says,”This is going to be the place to hang out, buy art, and listen to great music this summer!” As a member of the Artists of Palm Beach County, it seems only perfect that the ActivistArtistA Galleries director inaugurate the season with “What’s All the BUZZ about?”.
“What’s All the Buzz About?” is a Juried Exhibition of contemporary works, in all media., that will explores the relationship between the artist and the environment. The spotlight of this exhibition will be on the vital role of the bee in the South Florida eco-system. The exhibition is presented by The Artists of Palm Beach County and ActivistArtistA II .
The exhibition, a benefit for Palm Beach Beekeepers Association, will include a special guest presentation by the PBBA president Al Salopeck. Live music will play a part in the festivities with the Jon Greco Band performing. This exhibit is sponsored by PureHoney Magazine, who’s editor Steev Rulmann helped jury the exhibition.

Their July General Meeting
Monday, July 14 7pm
On Monday July 14 at 7:00 p.m. Artists of Palm Beach County (APBC) member Jean Hutchison will host the APBC General Meeting at her home located at NW 3rd Avenue in Delray Beach. Each year Jean has hosted an event and challenged artist members to share a piece of art. This occasion is no exception, and she is especially interested in art with unusual techniques. If you arrive early, Jean will do a tour of her botanical garden.
Visitors will enjoy the wealth of art that fills her home. Many of her works include portraits of primates. She will share her fascination with monkeys and answer questions about her own unexpected techniques. Admission is free for members of APBC, but the general public is invited to attend the event for a $5.00 admission fee. Payment will be collected at the door and will be applied towards the APBC membership fee, if one wishes to join at the meeting. If you choose to bring wine, other drinks, or snacks to share it will be appreciated.
To get to the venue take I-95 to Atlantic Avenue and go east .9 miles to Swinton. Make a left and head north .9 miles to NW 9th Street, west 3 blocks to NW 3rd Avenue.
