JF Galleries Invites the Public to View “Small Works”
JF Gallery recently exhibited at Art Palm Beach and Art Synergy. The Gallery’s newest exhibit includes a wide variety of artwork which is all created in a “small”format. 2D work and 3D work will be included in this juried show. There will be a public reception and The Rickie Report expects to see you there on March 29th! Here is a sneak peak and all the details:

William and Jamnea Finlayson invite you to the Opening Reception of their newly curated exhibit, “Small Works”. The event takes place on Saturday, March 29th from 6-8 pm. The exhibit continues through April 7th. Gallery hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 am – 5 pm.
“I Remember Me” by Ilene Adams
Thirty artists’ creations, both 2Dimnesional and 3Dimensional will be represented. The judge for this exhibit is Sibel Kocabasi, an international artist in her own right.
“Red Tail” by Anthony Burkes ,Sr.
Sibel Kocabasi is a Turkish born contemporary artist, curator and educator living in Palm Beach County, Florida and Istanbul, Turkey. She graduated with a BFA degree in Turkish Traditional Arts (rug-kilim design, natural dyes, conservation and restoration of textiles, and illumination of manuscripts) from Marmara University of Fine Arts in Istanbul.

Sibel received her MFA degree in painting in 2005 from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. Sibel has exhibited in Japan, Egypt (in the 10th Cairo Contemporary Art Biennale) and in Istanbul, Turkey. Kocabasi is the recipient of the 2006 Hector Ubertalli Visual Arts Award and the 2010 South Florida Cultural Consortium’s Visual and Media Artists Fellowship. Her work is in collection of The Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum in Miami, Florida and Beth De Woody collection.
