The new year begins and resolutions are easily made but not as quickly accomplished.  The Mandel West Palm Beach Public Library has a number of solutions to help you.   It’s not “rocket science”, it is Rocket Languages™, a new language program and all you need is your library card (FREE)!  This Rickie Report article includes the details about this as well as other FUN lessons.

Coming up:   Star Spangled Heroes



From February through March, 2014 the West Palm Beach Library Foundation will honor Veterans residing in Palm Beach County as part of a photo display, entitled “Star Spangled Heroes”.   In addition, the Library Foundation will host films, a high school essay contest and other programs which look at various aspects of the US armed services.  Dorothy and Sheriff Ric Bradshaw are serving as the Honorary Chairs and Fred Storch and Lesley Hogan, Library Foundation Board Members are the event Co-Chairs.
