The Art on Park Gallery is proud to hang her impressive, large, colorful, acrylic abstracts in the front window.

The themes she is exhibiting at the Artists of Palm Beach County show fit the mood of “autumn”.  As Pamela tells us, ” Capturing the feelings of the falling leaves, chilly nights, and even ice and snow – – those are all climate conditions which Florida residents have to leave the area to experience.”
Pamela paints her abstract landscapes and seascapes on linen, using acrylic paints.  Her paintings are as large as 4 x 6 feet and as small as 5 x 7 inches.  “Since my childhood, I have been fascinated with the reflections that transpire when any combination of land and sky and water meet.”

“The multitude of colors and reflections dazzle me!  I have been painting these vistas and the reflections they create from places all over the world, from Newport to the Florida Keys, to Venice, Italy to the fjords of Chile.  For me, every view of the convergence of land, water and sky is a magic moment – a natural canvas of colors and reflections never seen before.  Some are dramatic, some wildly chaotic and others blissfully peaceful. Every one is unique.”

It is dedicated to empowering individuals in the arts by reaching out to its diverse community, cultivating professional and social resources and opportunities for its members and developing collaborative relationships.
Artists of Palm Beach County serves as the much needed connection between artists and also between artists and the community. Many members are new to Palm Beach County and feel both relieved and excited to find an organization that provides networking opportunities and promotes local artists. It also seems the community at large was in need of an organization such as this. Shortly after the organization formed we began seeing calls coming in from local organizations and individuals that wanted to include local artists in their programming!
