Richard’s photography represents nature’s beauty, the uniqueness of architecture and images that capture the essence of human behavior. Richard’s work elicits an emotional response within the viewer. Richard also uses his talents to document the wonderful community outreach which takes place at all of A Unique Gallery’s events with the Artists Association of Jupiter.
In June, these local arts groups helped Jupiter Performing Arts Fund with Art Exhibit and Sale “Chasing Summer”. This special event was an “Artist Challenge” for which artists had to create a piece of artwork that depicts the meaning of “Chasing Summer.” All genres participated and it was a pleasure to see the diversity of how the artists explored this challenge! Proceeds were shared with the Jupiter Performing Arts Fund: Keeping Music In Education “New Life for Old Notes.” Contributions were also raised for JPAF’s scholarship drive as well as gently used musical instruments.
Jupiter Performing Arts Fund is a not-for-profit organization formed for the purpose of encouraging, promoting and supporting music education in the Jupiter public schools. Each year, JPAF awards scholarships to students for music lessons, music camps, clinics, and drum corps. Scholarships are also awarded to high school seniors planning to major in music at college.
JPAF’s “New Life for Old Notes” program collects used musical instruments, refurbishes & donates them to Jupiter’s area school music programs. Do you have an old musical instrument in your closet or attic which is collecting dust? Here’s an opportunity for you to give new life to those old notes! Please take the timeSpting to donate those instruments to the Jupiter Performing Arts Fund and help a local student in need. Your tax deductible donation will help a young musician excel & will support the music programs in Jupiter schools. For more information, visit JPAF online at jpaf.org or call (872) 222-5723.
The Artists Association of Jupiter is a collaboration of artists who work together to promote the awareness of art and education to the community and surrounding counties.
