“Season” Never Ends for Artists’ Guild of The Boca Museum of Art

The Rickie Report loves that “season” never ends for the Artists’ Guild of The Boca Museum of Art!  Their newest exhibit opens on April 7th and there will be a public reception on April 11.  Supporting The Boca Museum of Art is only part of their mission.  These community-based artists serve as local high school teachers, mentors and more.  What a great way to support the arts community!  See you there!

The Artists’ Guild of the Boca Museum of Art continues to present juried art exhibits along with events for art lovers year round. Coming next month, the April 2013 Artists’ Guild Gallery Juried Art Exhibition, from April 7 through May 4, showcases fine art paintings, sculptures, and photography created by Guild members. The public is welcome to its opening reception, held April 11 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at The Artists’ Guild Gallery at 512 East Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach.

“A visit to the gallery is always an interesting experience,” said Roni DiSabello, Gallery Director. “The gallery is staffed by the artists who show there, who are always happy to discuss art.”

The Artists’ Guild Gallery presents a fascinating opportunity to view and purchase an eclectic array of traditional and experimental art. Breathtaking portraiture and landscapes are on display alongside exploratory works of photography that integrate video and construction; and life-sized sculpture that includes painting and video. With over 80 artists contributing works, there is always something remarkable to see.

Two additional juried art exhibitions will be presented in May and June. The May 2013 Artists’ Guild Gallery Juried Art Exhibition will be on display May 5 through June 6, with an opening reception May 9 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. The June 2013 Artists’ Guild Gallery Juried Art Exhibition will be on display June 9 through July 7, with an opening reception June 13, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A portion of artwork sales benefit the Boca Museum of Art.
