Artists of Palm Beach County Invite You to a Sharing Meeting

If you missed the Grand Opening of Art on Park, the new gallery and home of the Artists of Palm Beach County, you can see the video here on The Rickie Report.  With networking and sharing as a major focus for this group of multi-disciplined artists, their next meeting is one everyone should enjoy.  The public is welcome to attend Artists of Palm Beach County’s “sharing” meeting on February 11 at Clay Glass Metal Stone gallery in Lake Worth.  A Call for 2D and 3D Art  and some free demonstrations are being announced in this post.

Joe Friedman, President of Artists of Palm Beach County invites artists of all disciplines to attend their February 11th meeting and bring a piece of artwork to share.  The event takes place at Clay Glass Metal Stone Gallery in Lake Worth and will include a short presentation by Gallery Director, Joyce Brown.  Clay Glass Metal Stone Gallery is a Cooperative which focuses on 3D artwork.  APBC members are invited free and guests are asked to pay $5., which can be used toward annual membership of $50.

 

A Call For 2D and 3D art is being sent to all members of Artists of Palm Beach County with a reminder that space is limited.  Work may be delivered February 15th and 16th at 800 Park Avenue, Art on Park Gallery.  The exhibit will begin with a public reception on February 22nd from 5-8 pm.

 Artists of Palm Beach County’s new gallery, Art on Park, will be featuring Nina  Fusco giving a FREE  Demo Tuesday, February 19th from  6:30 – 8:30 pm.  Nina will be offering workshops in Paper Sculpture for all stages of experience.  You can also sign up for her workshop on Tuesday March 5th from 5- 8 pm ($25. plus materials). Self-taught, Nina creates 3D paper sculptures by manipulating the flat surface of paper to give it life. She cuts, scores and bends the paper to create her 3D paper sculptures. Nina explores the contrast between light and dark shadows in her 3D paper sculptures. Numerous 3D paper sculpture creations by Nina, utilize hands to send a message of love, hope and working together to reach new heights. Nina’s awarding winning 3D paper sculpture pieces, collages, pencil drawings and photography have been exhibited in Palm Beach County galleries.
