From World Galleries to Nurseries, An Artistic Grandmother

How does an artistic grandmother react to her newborn grandchild?  She creates a piece of art, of course!   And when her friends, neighbors, and family members see the beauty of it, they want one for their grandchildren, too!  The Rickie Report met Judy  “Yudit” Eisenger at the opening meeting of the Wellington Art Society.  She was showing one of her “baby prints” and I was immediately struck  by it.   It is beautiful, as one would expect.  It is special, just like the newborn baby.  My first question to Judy was “how are you going to market this wonderful idea?”  Judy and I met over tea and brainstormed some marketing ideas – large and small.  The Rickie Report is proud to be part of helping Judy give  “birth”  to  www.tinook.com   – A place for fine art and newborn naming keepsakes,  launched by local artist, Judy, “Yudit” Eisinger!

FROM WORLD GALLERIES TO NURSERIES, ARTIST INSPIRED AS FIRST-TIME GRANDMA

Judy Eisinger’s stunningly beautiful mixed-media paintings hang in galleries and private art collections around the world.  Now the Wellington, Fl. artists’s latest series of bold, colorful artwork can be found in the most unlikely of places – the nurseries of newborns.

Ms. Eisinger has created a series of newborn-themed graphic designs, which she has turned into “fine-art baby-naming certificates” and sells through her online store, Tinook.com.  Not surprisingly, the artist’s inspiration for beautifully expressive nursery art came from a place of personal joy, when her son told her she was about to become a Grandma.

“All grandmas know the thrill, delight and happiness of hearing that news for the first time,” says Ms. Eisinger. “But as an artist, something else clicked into place. Like most creative people, I wanted to channel those emotions through expressions of art.”

Award-winning artist

Born in Budapest, Hungary, Judy emigrated to the U.S. where she began painting at an early age. She has taught graphic design as an adjunct professor at Palm Beach State College; illustrated, wrote and self-published a children’s book; and is the owner and creative lead at Yudit Design, a full-service graphic design agency.

Her mixed-media paintings are bold and daring in both color and contrast. Judy’s talent and wealth of experience brings an open-minded adaptive process to her paintings, which have earned her a covey of regional and national awards over the last 30 years.

Grandmother-To-Be

Now with her first grandchild on the way, it was time to create have some fun and create something special!

First there was the mural for the nursery. A color palette chosen by the new mom-to-be and the theme by the new dad. A fair her son requested. Animals. Midway rides. All the trimmings of a county fair.

Then came the baby shower. Judy wanted to create a gift for her son and daughter-in-law to enjoy – something personal, and binding, between them and the new baby. “I just wanted to create a work of art that always reminded them of the love and joy of being parents,” she says.

So Judy decided to design a work of art that celebrates a new baby’s identity – his or her name. “Standard birth certificates are industrial documents that get locked away,” she said. So the idea of a fine art newborn naming keepsake print was born – www.tinook.com.

Baby Boy

Two close friends-also with first grandchildren on the way asked Judy to create a print for them as well. The rest, as they say, is history.  Each 16” x 20” Signature print or 11” x 14” Companion print is a beautifully designed unique work of art that includes room for the newborn’s name, birthday and parent’s name. Filling in the baby’s information is easy with the little ‘Heart’ pen that comes with each print.

Family Hands

The prints fit standard off-the-shelf frames. And each Signature print is signed by the artist. Tinook prints are a wonderful addition to any baby’s nursery. And the companion size is a perfect gift for any doting grandparent – a gift of joy that lasts a lifetime.
