Eduardo Gomez’ New Public Sculpture Commission For Distinguished Service Memorial Park In Stuart Florida To Be Unveiled

Eduardo Gomez’s new sculpture to recognize a local hero for the Distinguished Services Memorial Park in Stuart, Florida will be unveiled on Memorial Day, May 29th. The sculpture, located in front of the Park’s flag pole, was made possible by a donation by the Stuart Rotary Club Charitable Foundation. Eduardo is a working figurative sculptor with a studio located in Jensen Beach. His passion is the human figure. He prefers to work from life because he believes the relationship between the artist and the model adds unexpected emotional and psychological elements to his work. The model he used for this sculpture is a veteran and a graduate from West Point Military Academy.  The Rickie Report shares information about Eduardo’s artistry, though some of the final details of the unveiling are still “under wraps”.
