The Rickie Report is always happy to share Calls to Artists.  This one is meaningful because the organization, Hadassah, was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.   The Call to Artists and details follow.  Not only will the artists chosen receive cash prizes, but they will also get the recognition of their craft on each card that is reproduced.  This contest is open to children and adults and is being sponsored by Florida Atlantic Region of Hadasssah.

Florida Atlantic Region Hadassah Announces Art Competetion   The Florida Atlantic Region (FAR) Hadassah announces a Call to Artists World Wide to create new donation cards!   Contest rules: Artwork should take into consideration Hadassah’s mission. For more information see: www.hadassah.org Artwork submitted becomes the sole property of FAR Hadassah Original artwork may be in any medium as long as it is easily reproduced Finished card size will be approximately: 5” X 7”       Artists must complete and sign attached application Artists must be at least 18 years old or supply a Parent or Guardian’s signature and date of birth There is no limit to the number of entries per artist The fee per entry is $10.00 (U.S.) or 3 entries for $25.00 (U.S) All entries must be sent as jpgs and be sent separately to: FARartistsearch@gmail.com The deadline for entries is Sunday December 2, 2012,  midnight Eastern Standard Time U.S.   A panel of judges will choose the winners, who will be notified by email December 15, 2012 Cash prizes will be distributed in U.S. dollars to all winners. Artists whose images are chosen will be given artistic credit on each card reproduced.
