Artists Do The Blues: Be Part of The Blues and Jazz Festival in Lake Worth
The Rickie Report understands why it is important to have your jpgs and artist statements ready! The Blues and Jazz Festival is coming to Lake Worth on October 15th. Artists can be part of the scene but must apply by October 9th! Application is in this article.
The Blues and Jazz Festival is coming to Lake Worth in October. Blues Week Lake Worth will begin Monday October 15 with live performances throughout town for the entire week. On Friday, October 19th the streets will be filled with performers, and many of the shops and restaurants will host special events. Clay Glass Metal Stone Gallery will feature Palm Beach County Artists in a special Invitational titled:
“Artists Do the Blues”
Opening reception – Friday, October 19th 6 to 9pm to coincide with the week of Blues events. Thousands of blues aficionados will converge upon Bryant Park on Saturday and Sunday, for the largest Blues Festival the region has ever seen.

- Open to 2D and 3D Artists in all mediums.
- Artists may enter up to 2 pieces of current work, conforming to the following criteria:
- A completed electronic application form, up to 3 JPEG images in CD or E-MAIL and $35.00 entry fee must be received by deadline of 3pm Tuesday October 9!!! No late applications will be accepted.
- Entry fee is non-refundable and may be charged by phone (561-585-7744) or paid by check made payable to The Craft Gallery.
- Images of artist work must be submitted by CD or E-MAIL in JPEG format no larger than 1MB. Images must correspond to Image Register below. Title of Image should be in the following format: Image number, artist’s last name _ title of work. 3. All exhibited work MUST BE FOR SALE with 70% of the sale going directly to artist. Art e-mail Cards will be provided to the artists to help co-promote the exhibition.4. Notifications of acceptance will be e-mailed or phone call by Friday, October 12, 2012. Delivery of accepted Art Work will be delivered (or dropped off) on Tuesday October 16 from 1pm to 4pm.
