Make and Take – Fun For Everyone! Plus: Metal Artists And More Wanted
The Rickie Report looks forward to events when people who think of themselves as “not creative” get to try a new craft and take home the fruits of their efforts. Is it possible that a creative spark has been encouraged? And don’t forget that Local Treasures is looking for more artists!
Kathy Barry is looking for some new works by metal artists (no larger than 14″ x 16″). All pieces must be ready to hang. Artisans who make trinket boxes are also welcome to make an appointment to show their work. If you have an unusual craft, Kathy is happy to consider selling it at Local Treasures!
We love that Local Treasures is eager to show everyone how to make something themselves with their “Make and Take” events. This is a wonderful opportunity to try something you have never tried before without investing a lot of money in the tools and materials. If you enjoy it , you can persue it on your own or under Kathy’s guidance.

Ellen will help you create your own beaded bracelet that you take home with you! Choose from an assortment of Ellen’s beautiful beads. You can even add a name to the bracelet with multi-color letters – which is always popular. Creative Fun for Just $5.
