Curious About Mars? NASA Scientist Coming to Speak Here!
The Rickie Report knows how fascinated we earthlings are about outer space and our newest venture to the planet Mars. Curiosity landed on Mars on August 5, 2012, and in honor of this robotic geologist’s achievement, The Gem & Mineral Society of The Palm Beaches will be having a special guest from NASA! This is open to the public and we urge to to get there early for a seat! Families are welcome!
The Gem and Mineral Society of the Palm Beaches Presents:
“NASA – Exploration at a Crossroad”
Russell Romanella Director, Safety and Mission Assurance
NASA Kennedy Space Center, Florida
Mr. Romanella explores the current Human and Robotic Exploration
Missions within NASA. He will speak about where we are and where we are heading with the
Space Shuttle and Space Station programs as well as exploration of the
solar system including Mars, Saturn, the asteroid belt, and NASA’s plan to
return to the Moon and on to Mars.
