Brushing Up on Your Skills And Free Museum Day!
The Rickie Report looks forward to this coming “third Thursday” at Lighthouse ArtCenter! On September 20 there will be a visual presentation and discussion with some of the artists currently showing in the Faculty/Florida Craftsmen exhibits.
How can taking a particular class improve your artwork or techniques? What problems or difficulty are you having with your composition, or drawing skills? What materials will work best for a specific project? These are just some of the important questions that you will find answers to by attending this event.

In addition the Lighthouse artCenter will once again be participating in the Smithsonian’s Museum Day Live! In the spirit of Smithsonian Museums, who offer free admission everyday, Museum Day Live! is an annual event hosted by Smithsonian magazine in which participating museums across the country open their doors…for free. This is a great day to visit the ArtCenter if you have never been and the doors will be open until 4 pm with last admission at 3:45 PM

Lighthouse ArtCenter is in Gallery Square North, 373 Tequesta Drive, Tequesta, Florida, one-half mile west of U.S. Highway 1. Museum hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with admission free for members and $5 for non-members ages 13 and up. Saturday hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with free admission.
